Height: 6'4"
Weight: 240 lbs
Visual: "Powerfully muscled and physically imposing," Damen is a beast of a man. He's big enough to intimidate people at first glance. Dark olive skin and thick waves of dark hair are typical of the Mediterranean-like culture he was born into. His back is criss-crossed in a hundred and fifty lash scars from almost being beaten to death in Vere, and flogged again in Sheatris. There's an old childhood scar across his stomach from a sword wound (courtesy of his half-brother) and another, newer one beneath his left collarbone (courtesy of Laurent's brother).
Fashion: The less the better? In Akielos, Damen usually wore Grecian-style clothing: chitons and toga-like wraps, and leather tunics and skirts into battle. Most of what he wears leaves his arms and legs bare, and nudity doesn't really seem to be a huge problem for him. He's comfortable in his own skin, and he tends to dress for function over form. If it's warm, why wear more than necessary? When he wears jewelry, it's almost always gold. White, purple, and leather/earth tones would be typical colors of clothing for him, depending on the purpose
Demeanour: The proud, physically dominating posture of a King by birthright. Damen has a physicality to him that is described as 'barely able to be contained.' Just being in the same room with him tends to have an effect on others, depending on how much of a threat they perceive him as. He is known for his prowess in nearly every Akielon sport, his favorite being wrestling, and his reflexes are impeccable. He walks with purpose and ease, but when a threat is perceived, his instincts jump into action and he will ready himself for whatever is coming.
Aural: ‘He’s not very talkative.' ‘It comes and goes.' Damen would probably rather do something than talk about it. But when he does speak, his gift for languages and accents is evident. ‘I speak your language better than you speak mine, sweetheart.' His voice most likely has a Mediterranean cadence to it, something between the clarity of Greek and the rolling vowels of Italy, and is pitched medium-deep in a baritone register.
